I'm Uriel Gómez Becerril, a Full Stack developer based in Querétaro, Mexico. I hold an Engineering degree in Software Development and Management from Universidad Tecnológica de San Juan del Río, and I build web and mobile applications with React.js, Next.js, Node.js and Flutter.

My experience spans three very different environments: manufacturing at Mitsubishi Electric de México, where I built internal applications with React and RESTful APIs with Node.js and Express on top of MySQL databases; plant IT infrastructure at LG Innotek, supporting 150+ machines and helping install the network for a new production line; and public administration at the San Juan del Río city government, where I develop applications for municipal procedures and automated internal processes with Node.js, cutting manual handling time by roughly 30%.

That mix taught me what actually matters: software runs in real conditions, with non-technical users and processes that existed long before the code did. I design for that, not for the demo.

How I work ×

From the process to the code, not the other way around

Before writing a line I make sure I understand the procedure or operation I'm digitizing. At the city government that was the difference between an app people use and one that gets abandoned.

Automate the repetitive

A good part of my work has been spotting manual tasks that repeat every week and turning them into Node.js scripts. That's the kind of improvement measured in hours recovered.

Full Stack for real

I model the database, write the API and build the interface. Having done plant IT support also left me comfortable with networks, hardware and everything surrounding the software.

Learning by building

I learned Flutter by shipping a real app to Google Play. I learned Astro by building this portfolio. I'd rather finish a project than half-watch a tutorial.
